Job summary

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection, a luxury resort in Napa Valley, is seeking a barista and facilities leader to join the Auberge family. The role combines guest-facing beverage service with oversight of budgets, capital funds, and maintenance projects to uphold the highest standards of luxury finishes and timely remediation.

You will greet guests, process orders via POS, manage dietary notes, and ensure daily documentation, while supporting inventory and operations across outlets.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler's Card (within 30 Days of Hire).
• Any combination of education that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Minimum of one year experience as a barista preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Indoor environment, sometimes humid or hot conditions.
• Ability to lift/carry 30 pounds.
• Flexible in performance of all duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet the guest in a prompt, courteous manner and explain available items in detail.
• Record the details of the order from the guest, repeating the order back to the guest to check for accuracy.
• Input the order into the Point of Sale (POS) system to inform the kitchen/bar on the particulars of the orders.
• Ensure all dietary restrictions and/or allergies are noted on the ticket and communicated with culinary.
• Prepares beverage orders accurately.
• Serve each guest using the proper utensils.
• Assist with collecting and properly placing food orders from the kitchen.
• Ensure order forms are filled out daily for next day service and delivered to proper departments.
• Process cash, credit card, and charge sales for all retail and food and beverage orders.
• Prepare the cashier end of shift reports and ensure that your bank is balanced.
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Wipe and sanitize all work surfaces, door knobs, equipment, pens, etc periodically during your shift.
• Put away requisition/supplies from the storeroom as required.
• Assist with monthly inventory of retail items, liquor and beverages.
• Be familiar with resort layout and hours of operations for each outlet.
• Perform any cleaning tasks that pertain to the outlet.
