**Job Description**

The Barista Lead creates a memorable experience for customers by providing timely service, quality beverages, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Responsibilities include training Baristas, processing transactions, following recipes, and maintaining the coffee bar while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to food safety policies.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs.
2. Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to brand standards.
3. Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
4. Train and guide staff in coffee and food preparation, customer service, cash handling, and product knowledge.
5. Schedule and delegate work assignments, coordinating task completion.
6. Operate register/POS accurately, handling cash and credit transactions.
7. Count, organize, and balance cash drawer; complete cashier slips and deposits.
8. Follow Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
9. Set up and break down coffee station, including cleaning and sanitizing.
10. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
11. Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, and condiments.

**Qualifications**

• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.

• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
