VK Capital Ventures Inc. runs Six Rows Coffee and related ventures in Houston and is hiring Barista Instructors. You will teach espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art, lead tasting sessions, and coach beginners toward café-level drinks.

The role follows a Fall 2026–Winter 2027 season with scheduled classes and events across Houston. Candidates should have professional barista experience and be based in Houston; transportation to multiple venues is required.

Qualifications

• Professional barista experience in café, roastery, or coffee-bar settings.
• Ability to pull espresso shots and texture milk to standard.
• Teaching, training, or customer-education experience is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation to class and event locations across Houston.
• Based in Houston to support local classes and events.

Responsabilités

• Teach scheduled barista and home-barista classes (espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art).
• Lead Black Coffee Club tasting sessions when assigned.
• Set up and break down the coffee bar for classes and events, including machine care.
• Maintain quality and food-safety standards at the bar for self and students.
• Coordinate with the event contact on timing and headcounts for each shift.

AboutVK Capital Ventures Inc. runs Six Rows Coffee alongside Travel Villa Kitchen — coffee classes, the monthly Black Coffee Club at The Houston Club, and market vending across Houston. We are hiring Barista Instructors to teach espresso, milk texturing, and latte-art classes and to lead tasting sessions. You'll teach beginners their first real cup and coach home baristas toward café-level drinks.

Responsibilities

• Teach scheduled barista and home-barista classes (espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art) from the season program
• Lead Black Coffee Club tasting sessions when assigned (the session lead rotates among our barista instructors)
• Set up and break down the coffee bar for classes and events, including machine care
• Keep quality and food-safety standards at the bar for yourself and students
• Coordinate with the event contact (Community Coordinator) on timing and headcounts for each shift

Qualifications

• Professional barista experience (café, roastery, or coffee-bar work)
• Confident pulling espresso shots and texturing milk to standard
• Teaching, training, or customer-education experience a plus
• Reliable transportation to class and event locations across Houston

SchedulePer published class/event schedule, Fall 2026 season (Oct 2026–Jan 2027) — includes monthly Black Coffee Club dates and weekend classes.
