Job summary

Levy Restaurants, a brand within Compass Group USA, is seeking a Barista for resort venues to prepare and serve ice cream, hot and cold beverages, including Starbucks coffee and tea. Weekend and holiday availability is required, and compensation includes hourly wages plus tips.

You will educate guests on the drinks menu, take orders, upsell items, and maintain a clean, organized service area while complying with safety and beverage regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a barista or waiter/waitress.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and guest services orientation.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to keep venue organized, stocked and clean.
• Jerry Jolly Responsible Alcohol Service Certificate (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Check guests' identification and ensure legal drinking age.
• Greet guests and respond to questions in a timely manner.
• Assess guest needs and make recommendations based on the menu.
• Pay attention to recipe details and guest preferences.
• Keep venue clean and organized per company standards.
• Understand pricing and assist in inventory counts.
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies as needed.
• Handle cash balancing as required.
• Ensure brewing equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure the venue is show-ready and compliant with regulations.
