Job summary

The Drake Oak Brook, Autograph Collection in Oak Brook, IL seeks a friendly Barista to join the F&B team. You will serve quality beverages and baked goods, greet guests, and handle orders with accuracy and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Experience with basic math and POS computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge on coffee, teas and baked goods.
• Greet guests in a friendly, personalized and professional manner.
• Receive and call back customer orders verbally.
• Provide quality beverages and food per recipes and presentation standards.
• Answer telephone in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Answer questions regarding coffee blends and product information.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and ring up orders.
