El Gaucho Bellevue is seeking a versatile hospitality professional for a Barista & Host/Expo role. Partial day barista shifts at The Bar-ilo are combined with select evenings as a host and expo for El Gaucho, guiding guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of restaurant or coffee experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Evening availability and weekend hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant or coffee experience.
• Availability for partial day shifts and some evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages at The Bar-ilo and greet guests.
• Prepare high-quality beverages with consistency.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Follow cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
• Maintain a clean, upscale environment.
• Assist with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Greet guests, assist with coats, and escort to tables.
• Provide menus and communicate special requests.
• Answer calls and input reservations.
• Expedite orders and ensure plate accuracy and presentation.
• Run food to tables and communicate between kitchen and service team.
