Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly Barista for On-Site work at The Westin in The Woodlands, TX. This part-time role serves guests with a warm welcome, accurately preparing orders and handling payments.

You will greet guests, ring up checks, close payments, and maintain clean, well-stocked outlets while balancing the cash drawer per policy. The job requires clear communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced customer environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change and total charges.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and Point of Sale procedures.
• Ability to effectively deal with and resolve conflict situations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit and/or stand and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Prepare customers’ orders as requested accurately and efficiently.
• Ring guest check correctly and close the payment by cash, card, or house charge.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues tactfully.
• Maintain high standards for all product preparation and station cleanliness.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift and follow banking procedures.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
