Job summary

Korman is hiring a barista to create drinks from our coffee, smoothies, and beverage menu, and to guide guests with allergen information. You will learn standard recipes and maintain a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a friendly, service-oriented approach, ability to communicate professionally, and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Adobe, PowerPoint.
• Skills Needed: Motivational, verbal communication, written communication.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects.
• Create hand crafted drinks from our coffee, smoothies, and beverage menu sections.
• Learn how to prepare beverages to standard recipes.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all our food and beverage menu items, price and availability.
• Provide a welcome to every customer and provide answers about menu items including any allergen questions.
• Build guest relationships.
• Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area.
• Accurately using and cleaning barista equipment.
• Accurately make drink orders and gather items ordered.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule.
• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Any other related job duties assigned by the manager.
