Job summary

Park Avenue Coffee in St. Louis is seeking a friendly, reliable barista who can deliver outstanding customer service, craft quality beverages, and help maintain a clean, welcoming café.

You will engage with guests, learn our air-roasting process, stay on top of menu changes, and support openings, closings, and daily operations across multiple locations to ensure a great guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience by engaging with customers and personalizing interactions.
• Memorize and craft all beverage recipes consistently.
• Educate customers on Park Avenue’s air-roasting process and current offerings.
• Be knowledgeable about company history and communicate it effectively to customers.
• Keep up with menu changes, seasonal drinks, and food items.
• Maintain the café area, restock items, and assist with restocking and dish pickup.
• Monitor and replenish stock of paper products and ingredients as needed.
• Prepare for shifts by ensuring muffins, bread, and sandwiches are ready for staff.
• Maintain efficiency and a sense of urgency in all processes.
• Complete operational tasks during opening, closing, and daily duties.
• Perform deep cleaning and regular maintenance of café and equipment.
• Arrive on time and prepared for every shift; communicate availability.
