Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Baristas at Penn Medicine Staffing Centers in Philadelphia, PA. You will prepare beverages, assist with foods, and handle orders and payments while delivering memorable customer experiences.

Previous barista experience and cash handling are preferred, with emphasis on accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards. This role requires English proficiency and a standard dress code, with health and safety guidelines followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow the required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits.
• Follow Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar and maintain cleanliness.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
