Virgin Hotels Central Services Llc in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Barista to deliver friendly, enthusiastic service and craft coffee beverages. You will manage the coffee bar, assist guests, and contribute to a memorable guest experience in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role requires standing for long shifts, ability to lift items, and working as part of a team with strong English communication. Experience as barista or food server is preferred; proper certification is required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as barista or food server preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand 6–8 hours and move.
• Lift up to 15 lbs regularly.
• Lift trays up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Food Handler Card and TIPS certification valid for at least 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Must love people and provide excellent service.
• Prep the coffee bar daily and clean it nightly.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized work area and stock supplies.
• Enter all items into POS and handle money.
• Educate customers about coffee and menu items.
• Ensure guests are of legal drinking age.
• Deliver a memorable guest experience.
