Job summary

SpartanNash's Grayling, MI location is seeking a friendly coffee shop team member responsible for preparing beverages, food items, operating the cash register, and delivering courteous service in a fast-paced setting.

You will stock items, understand store programs, maintain a clean department, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines. High school diploma or GED preferred, with strong communication and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee shop beverages; brew, mix and/or blend beverages according to set standards.
• Prepare food items according to procedures.
• Operate cash register to itemize customer purchases and process payments.
• Stock items and rotate coffee items and merchandise displays.
• Maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations.
• Notify the department lead or manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked department; follow safety and sanitation procedures.
