Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time team member for its Family Fare location in Holland, MI. You will prepare coffee beverages and food, operate the cash register, and assist customers with courteous service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include stocking, maintaining cleanliness, understanding store programs, and following safety guidelines to ensure a positive guest experience. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills; ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
• Good customer service and organizational skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee shop beverages; brew, mix and/or blend beverages according to set standards.
• Prepare food items according to procedures.
• Operate cash register to itemize customer purchases and process payments.
• Stock items and rotate Coffee items and merchandise displays.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked department; ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate promotions and specials to customers and model high service standards.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
