Job summary

Moody Brews Barista position at Moody Gardens requires friendly customer service, accurate order taking, and timely beverage preparation. You will greet guests, explain coffee options, take payments, and ensure a clean, well-stocked workspace.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and obtain TABC & Food Handlers certifications prior to starting. Prior experience is preferred; on-site role in Galveston, TX.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must obtain TABC & Food Handlers certification prior to beginning work.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide information on coffee blends and prices.
• Take orders accurately and brew coffee per instructions.
• Serve beverages and notify customers when orders are ready.
• Process payments and handle change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of work areas.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitized and maintained.
• Monitor supplies and inform procurement of shortages.
• Manage daily inventory and orders as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
