Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, responsible and punctual.
• Excellent guest relations and etiquette in a fast paced setting.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English to communicate with guests and teammates.
• Ability to memorize and promote menu items and specials.
• Experience with a POS system and beverage service is advantageous.
• Certifications for beverage service and food handling are required.

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and deliver them with courtesy and speed.
• Record orders, confirm accuracy with guests, and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Replenish beverages and upsell desserts or specialty drinks.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables and maintaining station cleanliness.
• Perform side work, restock condiments, and operate POS system as needed.
• Adhere to Moody Gardens policies and safety guidelines.
