Thomas Cuisine is seeking a Barista/Retail Associate for our Corporate Dining location in Boise, ID. You will serve coffee and beverages to employees and guests, handle transactions, and maintain a clean, welcoming café environment in a fast-paced setting.

Your role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure consistent service levels. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth within a values-driven company.

Formación

• Experience in a café, coffee shop, or customer-service environment preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting.
• Comfortable working with technology and point-of-sale systems.
• Commitment to cleanliness, consistency, and high service standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance in a corporate setting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
• ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items following established recipes and quality standards.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to employees, visitors, and building staff.
• Operate a cashless point-of-sale system, accurately processing transactions through card or mobile payments.
• Maintain café cleanliness, including counters, equipment, and self-service stations.
• Restock supplies throughout the day.
• Support coffee catering services and ensure items are labeled and presented.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and proper equipment use.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Communicate inventory needs and equipment issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
