Thomas Cuisine is hiring a Barista/Retail Associate for Corporate Dining in Boise, ID. The role handles coffee/beverage service, cashless transactions, and campus cafe upkeep. You’ll maintain cleanliness, stock items, and support catering tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires solid customer service and the ability to stand long hours, with ServSafe and state food handler credentials preferred. Employee growth and comprehensive benefits accompany this on-site role.

Formación

• Experience in a café, coffee shop, or customer-service environment preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting.
• Comfortable working with technology and point-of-sale systems.
• Commitment to cleanliness, consistency, and high service standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance in a corporate setting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
• ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items following established recipes and quality standards.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to employees, visitors, and building staff.
• Operate a cashless point-of-sale system, accurately processing transactions through card or mobile payments.
• Maintain café cleanliness, including counters, equipment, and self-service stations.
• Restock supplies such as dairy, cups, lids, condiments, pastries, merchandise, self-serve stations and grab-and-go items throughout the day.
• Support food service operations by assisting with coffee catering services, replenishing displays, and ensuring items are properly labeled and presented.
• Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including proper equipment use and food-handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent service levels.
• Communicate inventory needs and equipment issues to management promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
