Job Description for Morrison Healthcare - Barista

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Barista position at our location:

• Location: Premier Health - 1 Wyoming Street, Dayton, OH 45409
• Schedule: Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am (more details upon interview)
• Requirement: Previous barista experience required
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Barista makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handles food according to HACCP standards, and interacts courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes
• Accurately enter orders into POS system and process payments
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of the service area
• Ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and utensils
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation
• Keep display equipment clean and attractive
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly after use
• Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction
• Serve efficiently and prevent delays
• Understand and explain menu items accurately
• Assist in selling techniques and customer decision-making
• Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly
• Perform other duties as assigned
