Full Time Barista

Monday - Friday, Day shift

Summary:

• The Barista provides a fast and friendly customer service experience in our Bistro or Café. Responsibilities include making hand-crafted coffee and tea drinks, serving prepared food items, operating cash registers, and ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Process cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to Starbucks beverage preparation and service guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and recipes to effectively serve customers.
• Keep the Bistro or Café appearance clean and organized, ensuring products are stocked and all areas are sanitized.
• Handle foods and equipment properly to ensure infection control and safety.
• Label, date, and ensure the freshness of all products, following FIFO standards.
• Clean equipment and food service areas using appropriate chemicals and procedures.
• Manage food portioning and storage efficiently.
• Maintain neat and timely stock rotation of food supplies.
• Accurately handle money and operate the register, with accountability for receipts and cash drops.
• Comply with health codes and regulations, reporting issues promptly.

Credentials:

• CFP ServSafe Food Protection certification.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED (Required).
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
