+ Location: Corporate Cafe - Carlsbad, CA 92008. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Previous barista and customer service experience is a plus.

Job Summary

Prepares and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related items. Handles food per HACCP standards. Interacts courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso orders using standard recipes and measures.
2. Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
3. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and work areas.
6. Follow recipes and production standards for food prep.
7. Keep display equipment clean during service.
8. Clean equipment and workstation before leaving.
9. Greet and interact courteously with customers, relay concerns.
10. Serve efficiently, prevent delays.
11. Understand menu items and explain to customers.
12. Promote sales through good communication.
13. Ensure attractive display of foods.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
