Qualifications

• Barista experience is not required; you will be trained in PJ's methods for serving the best cup of coffee in town.
• Outgoing and engaging personality with a customer-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to communicate through multiple channels (email, phone, project management tools).

Responsibilities

• Present a positive image of PJ's to customers and coworkers.
• Proactively suggest new beverages, drink enhancements, snacks, and pastries to enhance the customer experience.
• Prepare all beverages and food to PJ's specifications and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure store offers excellent customer service and maintains store upkeep.
• Follow cash handling procedures accurately.
• Maintain sanitary, safety, and aesthetic standards through daily shift checklists.
• Alert management to operational needs and equipment issues.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Attend training sessions to increase coffee knowledge and skills.
