Job summary

Aramark Beaverton, OR is hiring full-time Baristas to join our fast-paced team. You’ll prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, take orders, and process payments while delivering memorable experiences for our guests.

We value friendly customer service, accurate cash handling, and the ability to follow recipes and brand standards. Prior barista or cashier experience is preferred; basic math and English communication are essential; Food Handling Certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
• Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards
• Balance cash drawer and deposits; fill out cashier slip
• Adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar and stations; clean and sanitize
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Stock beverage coolers and condiments
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Other duties as assigned by management
