Job summary

Aramark in Columbia, SC is hiring full-time Baristas to join our fast-paced team. You will prepare drinks, assist with food items, handle orders and payments, and deliver friendly, memorable experiences to customers.

Ideal candidate has customer service or cash handling experience, able to read recipes in English, and is comfortable working independently while following brand standards and safety guidelines in a bustling food-service environment.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Prior barista experience preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer and deposits.
• Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar, stations or store and clean/sanitize.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
