Table and Banter Hospitality invites a hospitality-driven Barista to join Café 200 in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. You will craft espresso beverages and serve guests, while delivering thoughtful hospitality and building relationships within the Round Table Studios community.

• Foundational experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Experience in food handling and safety standards desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create welcoming, memorable experiences for tenants, guests, and visitors by delivering genuine hospitality with each interaction.
• Prepare handcrafted espresso beverages, coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, and deli offerings in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Provide knowledgeable and personalized recommendations while accurately taking orders and processing transactions through the point-of-sale system.
• Ensure every food and beverage item is prepared, presented, and served with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment that reflects the elevated standards of Café 200 and Round Table Studios.
• Restock food, beverage, and retail items to ensure the café is prepared to serve guests throughout the day.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to support daily café operations and deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and other operational responsibilities as assigned.
• Embrace cross-training opportunities and support other areas of the café as business needs evolve.
