Equator Coffees in Menlo Park is seeking a Barista for our retail cafe. You will deliver warm hospitality, provide a memorable guest experience, and maintain a clean, welcoming space while crafting quality beverages.

You will learn about our coffees, share knowledge with customers, and work across cafe stations with a collaborative team. Retail or customer service experience is preferred; a Food Handler Card is required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current state-issued Food Handler Card.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Coffee experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Respectful and professional communication with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent quality beverages and food with hospitality.
• Communicate product information to customers accurately.
• Maintain clean back-of-house, bar areas, and cafe spaces.
• Handle cash and follow register policies.
• Assist in training and development of new employees.
