Better Buzz Coffee in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a barista. Earn up to $19 per hour, with base pay of $15.15 plus tips, and join a fast, friendly team delivering great coffee moments.

We offer training, growth opportunities, paid sick time, and a fun, energetic work environment. Availability on weekends and holidays is required, with about 22 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, available for nights, weekends and holidays and able to work 22 hours each week

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — cross-trained and adaptable, including kitchens for food prep
• Keep spaces clean, safe, and guest-ready
• Produce items to standard recipe specifications
• Stock ingredients for each station and maintain inventory
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Compensation

Base pay is $15.15 per hour.

• In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing customers regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day. Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and customer discretion. Average tips reflect 2024 reporting.
