Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for store positions in Pennsylvania to join a team dedicated to serving neighbors and communities. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers, demonstrate products, and ensure quality and safety standards are met in daily store operations.

Candidates with barista experience are preferred. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet attendance standards. This role offers opportunities to grow with a respected grocer across a broad service area.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Special skills: customer focused, strong interpersonal skills, and food handling certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Welcome and connect with each customer.
• Effectively recommend products and accommodate purchases to enhance the customer experience.
• Provide product demonstrations and sampling.
• Produce high quality products in accordance with company standards.
• Only serve items that meet visual and product quality standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safe food handling.
• Follow merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.
• Present oneself in a clean professional manner during every shift.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies.
• Follow inventory and stock guidelines.
• Learn and demonstrate all standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.
