Job summary

Mackenthun's Fine Foods - Minnetrista is hiring a part-time Coffee Shop Associate to greet customers, take orders, and process payments with our POS system. You will prepare beverages and non-coffee products, while ensuring a clean, welcoming space.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate cash handling, and a positive energy to promote Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience. 16+ years old, helpful prior retail or food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Restaurant, retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders and process payments using the cash register.
• Prepare beverages and serve products according to department standards.
• Develop familiarity with customers by learning names and preferences.
• Follow cash handling policies and keep the department clean and organized.
• Stock the department and maintain seating and floor areas.
• Prepare products for subsequent shifts and handle safety guidelines.
• Minimize losses due to improper handling, storage or spoilage.
• Perform duties to safeguard equipment and brand image.
• Other duties as assigned.
