• Provide fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customers' wants and needs.
• Operate coffee shop equipment; prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients.
• Check freshness and review sell-by dates; take appropriate action.
• Use kitchen equipment including espresso machine, blender, scale and steamer as required.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to store management; adhere to food safety guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and inform management of needed repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and report safety risks or irregular activity.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment; manage conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Provide support through interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
