• Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs.
• Operate coffee shop equipment (espresso machine, blender, scales, steamer) and label/inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates; take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions; adhere to food safety guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
• Notify management of accidents or safety risks; report theft or fraud.
