Job summary

Target is looking for a Starbucks Barista to create a welcoming guest experience at our store. You will craft handcrafted beverages, assist guests, and support drive-up and pickup services while upholding food safety standards and a positive team environment.

Flexibility with shifts, including nights and weekends, and the ability to work independently or with others are key. Prior Starbucks or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with finding items or resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and friendly interaction.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up as needed.
• Maintain an inviting dining area and ensure cleanliness and organization of Starbucks space.
• Prepare and serve handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications.
• Follow all Starbucks and Target food safety standards and procedures.
