Job summary

Target in Camarillo, CA is looking for a Starbucks Barista to provide friendly guest service, brew handcrafted beverages, and maintain fresh food quality.

You will greet guests, handle orders, operate handheld scanners, and work with a team to ensure a clean, welcoming Starbucks space. Flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays is expected; prior food service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specs on recipes.
• Follow food safety requirements and temperature controls.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in the Starbucks area.
• Support Drive Up, OPU and other guest services as needed.
