Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista at Evangel University to provide exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made beverages. The role requires open availability and may be full- or part-time, with shifts varied by account needs.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing a range of beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, upholding sanitation standards, and handling cash transactions. Prior Barista experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests and provides quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit drinks.
• Maintains good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items.
• Educates guests regarding menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling.
• Organizes coffee bar supplies and creates attractive displays.
• Cleans coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation spaces.
• Records sales, handles cash, and follows cash-handling procedures.
