Sodexo is hiring a Barista at Northwest College to deliver high-quality beverages and friendly, efficient service on site. You will prepare coffee and other drinks, engage with customers, and maintain a clean, inviting coffee bar environment in a dynamic college setting.

The role requires operating with precision, following cash-handling procedures, and collaborating with team members while ensuring a positive guest experience during varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide quick, friendly service.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages per customer specs.
• Educate guests about menu items and upsell when appropriate.
• Maintain clean coffee bar and preparation areas.
• Record sales and handle cash transactions according to procedures.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
