The Barista is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintain a clean and comfortable environment. The Barista adheres to Hard Rock’s guiding Principles and Amplified Service Standards.
Creates a positive atmosphere. Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service. Provides information on all aspects of Hard Rock services, and facilities to guests. Quotes accurate waiting times and handles waiting guests in accordance with Hard Rock’s service standards. Responsible for the pickup, countdown and return of cash bank from miscellaneous count. Maintains accurate cash balance and handles money in a secure manner according to established standards. Responsible for maintaining dining room cleanliness including bussing tables and sweeping floor. Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned. Perform work regularly and predictably. Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume food service, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance. Must possess basic math skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities, balance cash drawer. Must have 10-key adding machine experience. Must be detail oriented. Must possess good guest service skills. Must be able to work in a smoking environment. Able to lift up to 25lbs.
