Overview

Pay - £7.55 - £12.21 per hour.

Our store in Lancaster is looking for a minimum of 16 hours per week as a Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. The hours will be spread across the week and will include at least one Saturday or Sunday shift.

Dunelm’s coffee shops, affectionately called Pausa, are thriving, and it is our Coffee Shop Assistants who are central to our success. They are responsible for preparing our range of food and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and building customer relationships.

Pay rates:

• 16-17 years: £7.55
• 18+ years: £12.21

What you'll be doing

Working as part of a close-knit team, maintaining high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, and demonstrating product knowledge. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with various ingredients, including dairy, nuts, and meat products.
• Serving hot and cold beverages.
• Serving savoury and sweet food items.
• Ensuring cooked food is served hot.
• Keeping tables clear and sanitized promptly.
• Loading and unloading dishwashers.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, service area, and restaurant.
