Biggby is seeking a friendly Barista in Conway, SC to greet customers, prepare a variety of beverages, and keep a welcoming vibe. You will operate espresso machines, manage orders, and maintain a clean workspace while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness are important.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and specialty drinks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders and related equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, utensils and equipment.
• Ensure drinks and food meet quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Handle cash and card transactions using the POS system.
• Assist with inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Engage with customers and offer recommendations.
• Work with teammates to ensure smooth cafe operations.
