Four Seasons Maui invites applications for a Barista role within the Food & Beverage division. You will serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, using standard recipes and the hotel's POS system, while ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 2 years of F&B service experience, a Hawaii Food Handler's Card, and TB clearance, with opportunities for training, career growth, and a supportive team in a luxury setting.

Barista

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, as well as information regarding preparation methods. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division , reporting to the DUO Management Team . Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve a selection of coffee, tea, and mixed specialties from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's , origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of food, coffee, tea and specialty drinks.

What You Will Bring

• Must possess good knowledge of service and food & beverage products and have had 2 years of food & beverage service experience in a similar role.
• Must maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep and maintain high standard and set a positive example for fellow employees.
• Must appear approachable, comply with grooming standards and have excellent personal presentation skills as per FSM guidelines.
• Should be responsible, hardworking and able to work cheerfully under pressure
• Should have excellent communication skills and be prepared to develop strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to work in a team or during quiet parts of the day work individually and be responsible for preparation, serving, taking money and organizing.
• Must maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
