Job summary

Aramark in New Orleans is hiring full-time Baristas to join our fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food prep, and handle orders and payments, delivering memorable experiences to guests.

The role requires previous customer service or cash handling experience, barista background preferred, basic math, English communication, and compliance with food handling standards. Full availability including holidays and a 9:00am–5:00pm shift are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate register/POS and handle cash and card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Stock beverages, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
