Job summary

Aramark in New York, NY is hiring full-time Baristas to join our fast-paced team. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, and take orders and payments while delivering memorable customer experiences.

The role emphasizes cash handling, accuracy, and friendly service. Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred, and basic math and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Barista experience preferred.
• Must read/communicate in English and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Balance cash drawer and complete cashier slips.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up/break down coffee bar and maintain cleanliness.
• Stock beverage coolers and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
