Job summary

Paris Baguette - 371 7th Ave in New York is seeking friendly Retail Associates to join our bakery café team. You will assist guests, handle orders, and ensure pastry displays and beverages meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the Toast POS, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment while learning about our menu and promotions to drive sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of Retail, Customer Service and food handling experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Positive and passionate attitude.
• High integrity and ownership.
• Proficient with POS systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in-store and for phone orders.
• Check quality of products for displays and rotate pastries and desserts.
• Prepare beverages and coffee during operating hours.
• Keep the store clean during business hours.
• Refill and organize pastries and beverages on display.
• Engage guests, answer questions and promote promotions.
• Operate Toast POS and process transactions accurately.
• Learn about products, menu items, and promotions.
• Greet guests, make eye contact, smile and spread joy.
• Support various stations as needed: Barista, POS, Greeter, Merchandiser, Pick-Up Specialist.
