Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Barista to create memorable guest experiences by preparing tea, coffee, and espresso beverages while following our service standards. You will engage with guests, maintain a clean workstation, and support other restaurant duties as needed.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders quickly, handling payments, and upholding TRIFIC values (Trust, Respect, Integrity, First-Class, Innovation, Commitment) in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
• Customer service focused and solution oriented.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and cash handling procedures.
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and take drink and food orders within 30 seconds of entry.
• Operate coffee making equipment and maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Prepare beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments using the POS system.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; follow company cash handling procedures.
• Support other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as seating customers and answering phones.
