Job summary

Buddy Brew Coffee in Saint Petersburg is hiring a Barista. We offer full-time and part-time roles. You will welcome guests, take orders, brew drinks following our recipes, and maintain a clean workstation.

The ideal candidate has prior food/beverage experience, is comfortable handling cash, and can adapt to weekend shifts. Barista experience is preferred but not required. Florida Food Handlers certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the cafe.
• Guide guests through the menu, answering questions.
• Take orders with attention to details like coffee preferences and dairy choices.
• Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages following Buddy Brew Coffee recipes.
• Serve beverages in a high-quality and presentable manner.
• Handle cash transactions and process card payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
• Ensure stock levels of ceramic, cutlery, and paper goods are adequate.
• Regularly check and maintain brewing equipment, reporting issues in the shift report.
• Adhere to local health and safety regulations.
• Communicate guest feedback to managers for continuous improvement.
• Actively suggest menu additions or alterations based on customer preferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work station
• Ensure stock levels of ceramic, cutlery, and paper goods are adequate
