Job summary

Buddy Brew Coffee in Tampa, FL is seeking a passionate Barista to join our team. You will greet guests, guide them through our menu, take accurate orders, prepare hot and cold beverages, and ensure every drink meets our quality standards.

This role involves serving with a great attitude, handling cash and card payments, maintaining a clean station, stocking supplies, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Weekend and holiday availability is appreciated; base pay plus tips is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in food/beverage industry.
• Barista experience preferred but not required.
• Must obtain Florida Food Handlers certification within 90 days.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the cafe.
• Guide guests through our diverse drink and food menu.
• Take orders with attention to details (coffee blend, dairy, sugar).
• Prepare hot and cold beverages following Buddy Brew Coffee recipes.
• Serve beverages in a high-quality, presentable manner.
• Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
• Ensure stock levels of ceramic, cutlery, and paper goods.
• Regularly check and maintain brewing equipment, report issues.
• Adhere to local health and safety regulations.
• Communicate guest feedback to managers for improvements.
• Suggest menu additions based on customer preferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
