Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Fargo, ND is seeking a Café/Barista associate to prepare foods and drinks, assist in the candy shop, and ensure a high standard of food safety. You’ll work under the Café Manager to meet production deadlines and support daily operations.

Applicants should have a high school education or equivalent, be able to work varied hours, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• High school education, or up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients for sale to customers.
• Perform all Barista, Café, and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions as assigned by the Café Manager and Supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of Café recipes, beverages, and prepared foods.
• Meet deadlines for fudge production and customer requests.
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels and local ordinances.
• Ensure products are received and stored per operating guidelines.
• Maintain clean and orderly workspaces and dining areas.
• Perform repetitive fudge production processes (stirring, pulling, cutting).
• Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
• Read and interpret operating and safety documents.
• Work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
