Job summary

Barnes & Noble is seeking a Barista to join our Café team. You will welcome customers, take orders, and help connect readers with beverages and café items. You will also assist with stocking, displaying baked goods, and maintaining a clean, inviting café area.

The role requires friendly, reliable service, ability to work varied shifts including mornings/evenings, and a willingness to learn our beverage recipes and store procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced café environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide helpful service at the register.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bakery display and café area.
• Maintain café cleanliness and presentation throughout shifts.
