Job summary

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. is seeking a Barista to welcome customers, prepare drinks and light fare, and maintain a clean, stocked café. You’ll work the register, unpack deliveries, and help present an inviting, well‑stocked beverage area.

You should be enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, and eager to learn café skills. Growth to Senior Barista with more responsibility is encouraged and supported by the team.

Qualifications

• Must maintain reliable and punctual attendance.
• Flexibility to cover early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and most holidays.
• Positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn barista skills and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take beverage orders at the counter.
• Prepare beverages and light bakery items to standard recipes.
• Operate registers and handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• Keep café area, bake case, and dining area clean and stocked.
• Assist with deliveries and product merchandising as needed.
