Barnes & Noble, Inc. in-store cafe is seeking a Barista to warmly welcome customers, answer questions, and connect readers with the right beverages and café items.

You will help unpack deliveries, tidy the bakes case, stock the dining area, and operate registers with a high level of customer service. You’ll build café knowledge across beverages, bakery, and savory options, while contributing to café presentation, promotions, and safe, organized working environments.

Responsibilities

• Using registers, computers, tablets and other tools to serve customers quickly and accurately.
• Developing strong merchandising to maintain café presentation and cleanliness.
• Making beverages and food with attention to quality and consistency.
• Unpacking deliveries and stocking shelves and bakery cases.
• Maintaining FIFO practices and dating products correctly.
• Supporting bookfloor team and loss prevention procedures.
