Barberry at Prado Provisions, the casual all-day café at Sítio El Tropicano, is looking for a friendly Barista / Cashier to greet guests, craft beverages, and handle transactions. As part of Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, you will maintain pastry displays, stock, and ensure beverage quality while upholding food-safety standards.

The role requires early mornings and weekends; experience with POS systems and a passion for hospitality will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Café, coffee, cashier, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare consistent beverages and learn product ingredients.
• Strong guest-service, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Comfort using a POS and handling payments.
• Food Handler and TABC certifications required or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.

Responsabilités

• Prepare espresso, brewed coffee, tea, and other beverages to spec.
• Greet guests, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Process orders and payments accurately through the POS.
• Stock pastry, grab-and-go items, and retail displays.
• Maintain cleanliness of counters and equipment; assist with opening/closing.
