We are seeking an energetic and guest-focused Barista/Café Attendant to deliver exceptional service while preparing high-quality beverages and food offerings in a welcoming café environment. This role is responsible for creating memorable experiences for members and guests through outstanding hospitality, efficient service, and attention to detail.

What You Do:

• Welcome members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, smoothies, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Serve food items and grab-and-go offerings while ensuring proper presentation and portioning.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and member charge transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cash drawers and follow all cash-handling procedures and company policies.
• Stock and replenish beverage coolers, food displays, service ware, and café supplies throughout each shift.
• Set up, maintain, and clean coffee stations, food displays, and service areas.
• Ensure all café areas remain clean, organized, sanitized, and fully stocked.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous barista, café, coffee shop, food and beverage, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee, espresso preparation, and specialty beverages preferred.
• Strong guest service skills with a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
• Experience handling cash transactions and operating point-of-sale systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.

• Basic computer skills required.
• Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
